Los Arboles spans the turn of the decade, 1959 into 1961, with Anshen & Allen and Jones & Emmons both on the recording. It catches the exact moment the classic Eichler becomes the sixties Eichler: the plans grow, the roofs get more adventurous, and the street elevation closes down further in exchange for a more private interior world.

It is also the tract we have photographed most, and the images across this site — the golden-hour gable, the entry sign, the carport — are Los Arboles. Eighty-four houses gives it a real identity without the anonymity of the two-hundred-lot tracts. The recorded lots run along Holly Oak Drive.

Drawn to the era, not to a specific address — the deeper overhang, longer glass and atrium opening of the classic years.

What was built here

The classic period. Larger plans, more assured roof geometry, longer glass runs — and, from about 1957, the atrium: an open-air room dropped into the middle of the plan. Whether a given house has one is the first question to ask.

What moves the number in Los Arboles

  • Straddles 1959–61, so both late-classic and early-sixties plans appear within one tract.
  • Two firms on the recording. Plan vocabulary genuinely varies house to house.
  • Mature landscaping throughout — the trees the tract is named for have had sixty-five years.

What is it worth?

We price Los Arboles the way it was built.

By tract, by architect, by what is still intact. Tell us the address and we will come back with the range and the reasoning behind it — not an automated estimate.

Before they hit the market

Most Los Arboles homes we sell never reach a portal.

Owners in these tracts tend to know each other. When one decides to move, we usually hear first. Join the list and you will hear early too — no volume, no drip campaign.
