Greenmeadow No. 3 finishes what Jones & Emmons started in 1954, but seven years later and in Claude Oakland's hand. The difference is legible from the sidewalk: more complex roofs, a harder street face, and interiors that open more dramatically because they have been more thoroughly closed off from the front.

Whether these houses share in the National Register listing that covers the original Greenmeadow recordings is a question worth confirming for any specific address rather than assuming from the shared name. The recorded lots run along Ferne Court.

Drawn to the era, not to a specific address — the broken roofline and harder street face of the late tracts.

What was built here

The late tracts, largely Claude Oakland's. Bigger, more complex in section, harder-edged at the street and considerably better built in envelope terms — better glazing, better insulation, more comfortable to actually live in.

What moves the number in Greenmeadow No. 3

  • Confirm historic-district status for the specific address — the No. 3 recording is later than the original listing.
  • Claude Oakland's sixties plans, distinct from the 1954–55 Jones & Emmons houses next door.
  • Access to the Greenmeadow community facilities is worth verifying rather than assuming.

What is it worth?

We price Greenmeadow No. 3 the way it was built.

By tract, by architect, by what is still intact. Tell us the address and we will come back with the range and the reasoning behind it — not an automated estimate.

Before they hit the market

Most Greenmeadow No. 3 homes we sell never reach a portal.

Owners in these tracts tend to know each other. When one decides to move, we usually hear first. Join the list and you will hear early too — no volume, no drip campaign.
